At the time of engagement, the product had already proven strong interest within its niche and demonstrated consistent downloads. However, growth efficiency was plateauing. Our process

The project was executed as a full-funnel growth redesign — connecting advertising messaging, in-app experience, and monetization logic into one cohesive system.

We began with a deep behavioral audit, mapping user intent from install to first catch entry. Drop-off points were identified across onboarding friction, feature overload, and unclear premium differentiation.

Next, we redefined the creative strategy. The messaging shifted from simple “catch logging” to performance mastery — positioning the app as a tool for improvement, achievement, and personal records. Emotional triggers around competition, precision, and expertise were amplified.

The onboarding flow was redesigned to reduce friction and shorten time-to-value. Users were guided toward logging their first catch faster, with clearer prompts and contextual micro-education.

Monetization was restructured around feature hierarchy and benefit framing. Instead of presenting premium as an upgrade, it was positioned as the gateway to advanced analytics, performance insights, and serious angling progression. Structured A/B testing validated each iteration before scaling.

The result was not just UI refinement, but a cohesive growth architecture aligned with user motivation.
